PosPro Financial offers financing for all of the following categories – ATVs, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles, Cars, Trucks, Boats, Tractors, Power Equipment RVs, Hot Tubs/Home Improvement, Travel, and Utility Trailers. We act as a brokerage and have access to many lenders which allows us to find loan solutions for folks in almost any situation – business owners, folks with challenged credit and those with perfect credit as well.
Once financing is secured, we also have the ability to offer “Protection Products” for those loans which include Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Loss of Employment Insurance, Extended Warranties, Guaranteed Asset Protection and Replacement Warranties.
PosPro Financial was founded in 1997 in the basement of owner Brad Long’s home in a small northern Ontario town.
In the early years the business grew substantially by helping dealers in the Northern Ontario Corridor. As time went on, the business continued to grow to all corners of the province and in 2009 our first commercial building was purchased on McIntyre Street in North Bay.
By late 2017, the office staff had grown to the point of filling the building, and the building next door was purchased to facilitate the expansion.
Today we employ 16 full-time staff with the addition of summer students and assistants throughout the busier months of the year. Our company has experienced positive growth in each of its 24 years to the extent that we now process over 3500 loans each year securing over $70 million dollars annually in customer financing needs.
Brad founded PosPro from his home office back in 1997. His passion for sales and a positive mental attitude drives the core of what PosPro represents. Brad is our active leader and continues to consult and mentor the entire team on a daily basis. He is the man we look up to for ideas and inspiration both inside the office and personally. Outside of PosPro you can often find Brad working on his golf game, traveling the world and spending quality time with his family and continuing his own personal development.
Kevin joined the team in late 2016 coming from positions in Financial Planning, Project Management and Software Support as well as a degree in Business Administration. Kevin now oversees all daily operations at PosPro. Kevin’s role is much like the Coach/GM of the team, he ensures the right people are in the right spots for maximum growth and that our company procedure and culture remain in a position to meet new challenges and goals.
Outside the office Kevin can often be found relaxing on his boat in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Kevin also loves to play squash and golf in his spare time as well as making memories with his Wife Sheena, Son Finlay and “Dog Dad” to our trusted mascott – Huey!
Kathy joined the team in 2002 as PosPro began the rapid growth cycle that still occurs today. Kathy is often referred to as our “Rock” or “Mother” around the office. She keeps the team organized, manages PosPro daily schedule and always has an ear open to listen to teammates. Kathy remains one of our top salespeople and drives the company forward on a daily basis. In her spare time, you can often find Kathy at a local rink watching her boys play competitive hockey.
Zach came to PosPro as our first summer student in April 2012 after finishing up at Georgian College. He has since moved on to become an integral Senior Business Manager with several responsibilities. Zach’s transition from student to Senior Business Manager has paved the way for several other employees. Zach now sits on many teams at PosPro Financial with a focus on Marketing and Dealer Relations. You will often meet Zach if you attend any of the shows and dealer open houses throughout the year. Any free time Zach has is spent with his wife Vicky and two boys as well as playing competitive baseball and billiards.
Amy joined the team shortly after Jen in 2009 to complete the group (Amy, Kathy, Jen) commonly referred to as “Brad’s Angels.” On top of the work done to complete deals and sales, Amy’s time is focused on our product development and sales training in this rapidly changing financial services industry. Amy loves to wind down by reading and spending time with her family. She can often be found out on Lake Nipissing fishing with her family.
Paul joined the team in August 2017 after being recruited from a local Credit Union. Paul has years of experience in the lending industry as well as credit analysis. His skills are directly transferable into our business and he quickly became an integral member of the team. Paul have become a critical member of our management team leading our Banking and Leasing teams. Paul loves to spend time with his girlfriend Molly and family singing Kareoke, and also plays baseball in the summertime.
Elliot joined our team through the summer student program in 2015, and was quickly hired full time based on incredible work ethic and a desire to learn. Elliot heads up our OMVIC and Licencing division as well as our newly formed Tech team. Elliot has a strong passion for vehicles and attends many shows and meet-ups throughout the summer months. This hobby pairs well with his expertise in OMVIC files and the vehicle licensing process.
Kelley began working at PosPro Financial in August 2017 as the company continued its growth. Kelley has brought with her years of experience in both banking and dealer financing. Kelley was a manager at a local bank branch before becoming a Business Manager at a local car dealership. Kelley’s experience speaks for itself, she was able to fast track her way into the sales team at PosPro Financial quickly, and attacks each day with an unbelievably positive attitude. Kelley loves spending time with her husband and two children. When time is available, she is the one cooking for large family get-togethers and parties.
More often than not, Nicole is your first point of contact with us at PosPro. Since joining us in 2018 Nicole has learned the business and become the leader of our Admin staff overseeing all new deal activity. More recently, Nicole has become the leader of our internal Marketing team running the majority of our social media campaigns and has also become an integral part of our winter show season. Nicole embodies the PosPro spirit and works to ensure that our dealers and customers get this feeling every day. Nicole is bright, energetic and has a positive energy in our office that everyone benefits from. Nicole has a passion for crafting, wood burning and designing graphic t-shirts and clothing. Since joining us she also also become and avid “Off Roader” enjoying more time outside with her Husband Sylvain.
Hugh is another member of the team who joined us during the Pandemic as a summer student in June 2020. Along with his friend Tyler, they helped us ramp up our Admin division when all Financial Services Managers were working from home and deal flow was through the roof! Hugh has stayed with us the past two summers and recently joining us Full time in February 2022 after Graduating with Honours at Guelph with a degree in Ecomonics and Finance – with plans to become our next Business Manager. Hugh has joined our newly developed Tech team and has a special interest in helping management with reporting and IT tasks. Hugh is an avid Cyclist and Golfer known for his short game skills and participation in PosPro Golf Events!
Caitlin joined us in early 2019 and has become an integral member of the Admin team. Caitlin will be one of the more common voices our dealers an customers speak to when calling us, and is a leader in calling and sending out credit applications. Caitlin is a very hard working individual, often getting to our Second office location first and usually the last to leave! Caitlin also plays a key role on our DRM and OMVIC teams keeping all documentation organized and our processes efficient. Caitlin enjoys spending time with her daughter, taking random road trips and going for drives out to Quebec to visit family. Caitlin has a passion for reading, and also enjoys quiet time at home with her dog, a good book by the fire.
Shannon joined the team in Spring of 2022 as a summer student on placement from Nipissing University, working with our Admin and Accounts team. Shannon continued working Part-Time for us while she finished her Bachelor of Business Administration, and joined us full time in the Spring of 2023. Since starting here, Shannon has helmed the Diversity and Inclusion Team at PosPro, leading projects for in-office training and internal policy. Shannon has a deep love for the arts and has a background in costuming, and would spend her whole life travelling the world if she could. Until those passports and travel funds are ready, Shannon spends her free time with their wife Em and their two cats, Beans and Buddy.
Sarah joined the team in the spring of 2019 working with our Admin and Accounts team. While off on maternity leave for the birth of her daughter Sarah continued to work away at her HR desginations. Upon her return to PosPro in 2021 Sarah has continued her development taking on a more leadership role within our accounts team and assisting management with HR consulation. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Steve, daughter Savannah and many four legged family members. Sarah also enjoys playing baseball in the summers and spending time camping and boating in the warm weather.
Kayla joined PosPro in March 2023 as a Financial Services Manager. Kayla came to our team with a wealth of knowledge from her experience which stems from growing up in a family engrained in the automotive industry. Before joining our team, Kayla had completed roles as a Business Manager at large Auto Dealer here in North Bay as well as time in the Automotive Insurance industry as well. Based on her experience, it’s been no surprise that Kayla has been one of the fastest on our teamError! Kayla has a positive attitude, along with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Since joining the team here at PosPro, Kayla has gone straight to work sharing her passion in learning new sales techniques and sharing those ideas with the team. In her short time with us, she has become a leader in sales. Outside of work in her spare time – Kayla can most likely be found with a Helmet on – ripping around her property on one of her many powersports toys, or on the river fishing with friends and Family. Speaking of Family Kalya loves nothing more than having some quality time with her Son Emerson, Fiancé Darren, and Dog Reisling.
Raven Baker-Brassard is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who joined PosPro Financial in spring 2024. Raven joins PosPro after 22 years in the Hospitality industry and brings a wealth of experience in customer service, work ethic and perspective. Since joining the team, she has shown us and our partners just how amazing she is.
Outside of her professional life, Raven is a hardworking mom to a very active daughter. Raven has embraced the role of hockey mom with enthusiasm. Their family has recently expanded with the addition of an adorable kitten, adding to the joyful chaos that Raven thrives in.
In her spare time, Raven enjoys taking her daughter out for fishing and swimming adventures. With a passion for both her family and her career, Raven is enthusiastic about contributing to PosPro Financial and looks forward to the opportunities ahead.
Chad joined PosPro Financial in spring of 2024 with an interest in assisting with customer service, sales, and marketing. Chad joins us with close to 15 years of experience in both sales and customer service combined with a huge passion in personal finance and the ins and outs of our world. Chads desire to contribute to the team’s success never waivers, he is very empathetic allowing him to understand his customers and teammates with a very high level of emotional intelligence. In his short time at PosPro Chad has become a major contributor to our Marketing team and helped us this summer, working with the sales team on a new pilot project. As Chad grows into his role at PosPro he continues to take steps in personal development to gain skills and be able overcome challenges in our industry. Outside of work Chad can often be found with his head in a good book about financial planning (that’s right – he enjoys reading contracts!) and spending quality time with his wife, Kerri, Dog Abbey, and extended Family.
